2010 Timetable

TUESDAY 18th MAY
Cattle can arrive from 8am onwards
Please Note: Any animals arriving prior to this time cannot be accommodated.

WEDNESDAY 19th MAY
Cattle can arrive any time during the day.
Led & Unled Carcase Competition exhibits must be at the Showground by 9am for Scanning, Inspection, & Weighing.
Live Judging at 1pm.
Sale of Led & Unled Carcase Exhibits including JANE MCGRATH FOUNDATION CHARITY CARCASE AUCTION 5pm.
Exhibits then trucked to Hardwick’s Abattoirs immediately after the sale. On completion of the Sale a Happy Hour & finger foods sponsored by Rumevite will be provided in the Bar area.

THURSDAY 20th MAY
ALL EXHIBITS MUST BE ON THE SHOWGROUND BY 9AM.
Weighing, Scanning, and Inspections of All Breeds
Preparation Day for Judging on Friday
Commercial Store Cattle Sale at Bendigo Saleyards
Junior Education Program 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Junior Judging Competitions at approximately 3pm
Sausage Sizzle - Evening

FRIDAY 21st MAY
Judging commences from 9am - various breeds
Trade Site Displays
Official Opening & Calf Classic - 5pm

FRIDAY EVENING
Social BBQ Function
MECHANICAL BUCKING BULL COMPETITION (after BBQ)

SATURDAY 22nd MAY
Judging continues at 9am - various breeds
Trade Site Displays

SATURDAY EVENING
Cattleman’s Dinner - including Carcase Competition Results and Presentations (bookings essential)

SUNDAY 23rd MAY
Junior Handlers Competitions - 8:30am
Helsman System All Breed Cattle Sale - 10:30am
Interbreed Judging - 12 noon
Trade Site Displays
Cattle Depart - 4pm onwards

MONDAY 25th MAY
All Cattle must depart from the Showground by 12 noon
